    • Do I need to be technical to use Ticket Wrangler?

      Nope. If you can send an email, you can setup an event. Everything is designed to be simple, intuitive, and quick — from creating your event to checking people in on the day.

    • What types of events is it suitable for?

      Anything from a 50-person beer tasting to a multi-day festival. We support all kinds of events — food fairs, fundraisers, gigs, workshops, community days, even private parties.

    • How much does it cost?

      You can get started for free. We deduct a small per-ticket fee for any tickets with a face value. There are no monthly charges. You keep more of what you earn!

    • Can I use my own payment provider?

      Yes. We use Stripe under the hood and you connect your own Stripe account, and funds go directly to you. No holding periods, no middlemen.

    • Can I scan tickets at the door?

      Absolutely. Use any smartphone or scanner to check people in. You’ll see real-time status updates as guests arrive, so you stay in control.

    • How do I scan tickets at the event?

      You can scan tickets using any modern smartphone, or we can supply Zebra handheld scanners pre-configured for your event. Just log into the organiser dashboard and start scanning QR codes in real time.

    • Can you provide gate staff or equipment?

      Yes — if you need help on the day, we can supply experienced gate staff. Ideal for busy entry points, multiple gates or when you want a fully managed check-in experience. Staff costs are obviously extra, but we can provide a quote based on your event’s needs.

    • When do I receive the money from ticket sales?

      All payments go directly to your connected Stripe account. We never hold your money — you receive funds directly from Stripe according to your own payout schedule.

    • Where are my tickets?

      Tickets are emailed to you as soon as you place your order. Can’t find them? Search your inbox for 'Ticket Wrangler' or check your spam folder just in case.

    • Can I show tickets on my phone?

      Yes! Save paper! Your tickets include a QR code that can be scanned straight from your phone — no need to print them out.

    • Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

      Yes — you can forward the ticket email or share the QR code with a friend if you can no longer attend. As long as the code is valid and unused, it will scan just fine at the gate. No forms, no fees, no hassle.

    • Can I list tickets for free events?

      Yes, however, while Ticket Wrangler supports free events with no per-ticket fees, there is a limit of 10% of your overall ticket listings. This is to ensure we can continue providing high-quality service and support for all our users. If you plan to host more than 10% free events, please contact our support team to discuss custom arrangements that suit your needs.
